Our main goal is to show our love to Miyavi by bringing all the CoMYVz together. We try to do this by organizing fan projects!

This year for Miyavi's 30th birthday, CoMYVz Crew has decided to participate in what probably is the first truely international fanproject that was ever organized. Please note that this project isn't a CoMYVz Crew initiative, we're simply participating :)

2 B CoMYV

Those of us who love and support him know just how unique and special Miyavi is, and most of us have probably told him once or twice. But what about his fans? All musicians have fan bases, but very few have built families from them. Miyavi had worked hard to promote a rare and special feeling of community among his fanbase.

So for his upcoming thirtieth birthday, let's show the leader of our global family our appreciation. "2 B CoMYV" is an international fan project designed to show our favorite Guitar Samurai our love not only for him, but for each other as well. Have you met amazing people through Miyavi's music? Met any lifelong friends? Have you and your CoMYV sisters and brothers shared any life-changing moments or wild adventures together? Has being part of Miyavi's fan base changed the way you think, feel or live? Now is the time to let Miyavi know what it means to you to be CoMiyavi.

We're taking all kinds of submissions - stories, short essays, pictures, artwork, ect - so long as they fit on one sheet of A4 paper (or smaller). We'll be collecting submissions from all over the world, from Europe and Asia to the Americas, and presenting them to Miyavi at the fan club event in Shibuya on September 2nd - but that doesn't mean you have to be a member of C.W.I.F. to participate! Any and all submissions are welcome, so long as they adhere to the basic guidelines found here.

Practical information

Maximum size is A4, with a max thickness of 0.5 cm
Both digital and traditional submissions are welcome. In case of sending in a submission by snailmail, please make sure it arrives on time.
Deadline: August 20th. We need time to get everything to Japan

We've talked on social networks like Twitter and Facebook. We've rocked together on UStream. We've sent our messages of hope and support after the disasters of March 11th. We all love Miyavi; now it's time to show our love for each other. Along with our birthday project for Miyavi, we'll also be sending a book of messages for our CoMiyavi family in Japan. Just a little note, a chance to try out your Japanese and maybe make some friends overseas. Know some Japanese? Try and use it. If not, just send your submissions in English and we'll help you out as much as we can. The same guidelines apply - any kind of submission goes, so long as it adheres to the guidelines.
